Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a artist that was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th of August 1963. Her parents are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. In Newark Whitney, she began singing with the choir of the church in the early years of her childhood. At the age 15 she joined her mother in the background vocals for Chaka's hit Im Every Woman from 1978. Her mother, Jermaine and Lou Rawls were some of the artists she backed up. Also, she was modeling for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. In 1981, she began to work as a vocalist in the New York funk group Material. It was her excellent vocals in this band that attracted the attention of record companies like Arista. Whitney Houston, her debut album, released in 1985 was the highest-selling album for the debut artist. It featured a number of hits like How Will I Know You Give Good Love Saving all My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It allowed her to achieve seven US charts-topping singles in a row which surpasses the Beatles. The album itself sold 3 million copies in its debut season in the US and then went on to sell 25 million worldwide winning her the first of her six Grammys. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles How Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to expand on the popularity of her debut album. However, it was, the 1992 movie The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most popular artists. Even though the movie and actress' performance were not highly praised, the soundtrack album that featured her interpretation of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her most popular album and single for a number of months. It sold more than 44 million copies worldwide. In the same year, she got married to ex-New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she was the sole parent of their child Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in March 1993. Around this time that her widely documented substance abuse began. By 1996, she was a regular addict.

Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist. She serves as a political correspondent for CNN. Her weekend programs are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. Bash has been awarded the Women in Washington Power List honor in Elle magazine. Bash is renowned for her amazing anchoring and reporting skills, and is loved by the younger journalists. Additionally, she is a loving mother of her son, even though she graduated of George Washington University. The single woman had two marriages.
