Heidi Klum is a German actor who was born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany on the 1st of June 1973. Her mother Erna worked as a hairdresser. Gunther Klim is her father. He was the chief executive of a cosmetics manufacturer. Heidi's father was a former production manager at the 4711 fragrance firm. Heidi was born in Bergisch Gladbach which is a town of 100,000 only 6 miles to the east of Cologne. Heidi Klum, a German-American fashion model has become a TV host as well as producer for fashion and business and actress, who lives and performs her work in southern California as well as Germany. The girlfriend (Karin) encouraged the then young student of 18 to participate in into a German TV show featuring talent called Model 92. Model 92, a German magazine Petra presented talent show part of Thomas Gottschalk's late-night talk show. Klum faced 25,000 contestants in Germany as well as Europe before she became one of the three semifinalists. In April 1992, she took home the biggest prize in modeling, $300,000.
